General Gold Selling Questions

    We determine value based on the purity (carat), weight, and current market price of gold. Some items may have additional value if they're antique or from prestigious designers.

  • Do you buy other precious metals?

  • What condition does my gold need to be in?

    We buy gold in any condition - broken, damaged, or perfect. Even tarnished or broken items have value.

  • How quickly will I receive payment?

    For both services, we can make same-day bank transfers once you accept our offer. Cash payments are available for home visits (up to an agreed limit).

  • What payment methods do you offer?

Postal Service Questions

  • Is my gold insured when I post it?

    Yes, all items sent using our postal pack are fully insured through Special Delivery. You'll receive proof of postage from the Post Office.

  • How long does the postal process take?

    Typically 2-3 working days total:

    • Day 1: Send your items
    • Day 2: We receive and value
    • Day 3: Payment processed (if offer accepted)

  • What if I'm not happy with the postal valuation?

    We'll return your items free of charge via insured Special Delivery if you're not satisfied with our offer.

  • Is there a minimum amount of gold I need to send?

    No minimum amount - we accept any quantity of gold through our postal service.

  • Where do you offer home visits?

    We cover the Midland and East Midlands. Contact us to check if we service your area.


  • Is there a charge for home visits?

    No, our home visit service is completely free with no obligation to sell.

  • How long does a home visit take?

    Most visits take 30-45 minutes, depending on how many items you have.

  • Do I need to prepare anything for the home visit?

    Just gather the items you'd like valued. Having any original boxes or certificates is helpful but not essential.
